The devotion of this chaplet comes from St. Raymond, who was taken from his mother’s womb by cesarean section following her tragic death in childbirth. The name “Nonnatus” is a Latin word which means “not born.” Therefore, he has been designated the patron saint of expectant mothers and fathers, those who hope to conceive, of the unborn, and the patron of Christian families.
The chaplet has three decades of beads, with a medal of St. Raymond Nonnatus.
